Notice of Proposed Issuance..of Amendment to Facility Operating License in connection with Cycle 2 operation at an increased power level of 2544 MWt was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on March 28, 1979 (44 FR 18569).
No request for a hearing or petition for leave to intervene was filed following this notice of proposed action. At the licensee's request, the C~ommission has postponed a,ction on the power increase.
The Comission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmenta. impact appraisal need not be preparad in connection with is',uance of this amenoment.
