Docket No. M Tennessee Valley Authority The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) hereby requests a renewal of its special nuclear material license, SNM-1476, dated June 20, 1974, for TVA's Office of Power Central Laboratories.
The enclosed application is identical to our original application dated April 15, 1974, except for changes indicated by a vertical line to the right of the lines being changed.
The purpose of these changes is to update our application to reflect personnel and division changes within TVA.
The phrase, "or to an approved burial site," on Page 5, iten III, C(3), and Page 10, item VIII; F(l), is to give TVA the option to process the waste at any of TVA's nuclear power plants or ship it to an approved burial site.
The other minor changes are to clarify TVA's original intent of this appl 1:ation.
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 170.31, we have d_cer-mined this proposed amendment to be Category J '.
