Dear Mr. Seidle:

On May 22, 1979, we verbally informed your Mr. R. G. Taylor that pipe wall thickness requirements established in the project piping specifica-tions may not have been adequately conservative to meet ASME code stress requirements.

We considered this "potentially" reportable under 10 CFR 50.55(e).

We are continuing our investigation and evaluation and will notify you as soon as we have reached a conclusion.

Very truly yours,

/
