Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Commonwealth Edison Docket No. 50-237 Company Based on the inspection conducted on April 2-30, 1979, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as noted below.
This item is an infraction.
Unit 2 Technical Specifications, Section 3.7.A.1 requires the maximum volume in the torus to be 115,655 cubic feet.
Contrary to the above, during a quarterly flow test and sub-sequent troubleshooting of the HPCI System on January 3, 1979, the technical specification required maximum volume in the torus was exceeded.
