Dear Ms. Bell:
As indicated in my letter dated Ap-il 20, 1979, answer to your Question 3, fire test data was requested from the Clare=ont Company. The requested information has been received and placed in the Discovery Roo= a.: PGE's headquarters. Since the infor=ation consists of only three pcges, I am herewith supp1ving you a copy of the fire test data on the Claremont Weld Shield 24 prot <..tive blankets to be used by Bechtel in their Control Building modification work at Trojan.
In accordance with the answer to your Question 4, PGE i.as supplied infor-mation to the NRC Staf f (on what work is going on and m v many workers are irvolved onsite) for use in their security review of tne Trojan Control Building modification program.
Sincerely, m

Dear Sir:
Intervenors in the Trojan Control Building proceeding agreed to a stipula-tion regarding their contentions related to security that their concerns should be addressed in a review of the Control Building Modification Program by NRC security reviewers without release of security information to the intervenors (Tr. 3091-92).
As indicated in our response dated April 20, 1979 to Ms. Bell's Ques-tion 4 at the prehearing conference (Tr. 3185), we supply, for use in the security analysis of the Control Building modifications, the following information concerning what other work is going on at Trojan and how many workers are involved.
There have been about 140 non-Plant Staff personnel onsite doing mainte-nance and codification work. We expect this number to be representative of the maximum non-outage work force to which approximately 25 workers (per shif t) for the Control Building modification program would be added.
These non-Plant personnel have been v: king cn two major modifications, specifically the fire protection and curity systems, in addition to 2
-other miscellaneous piping and electr: cal changes.
With the timing and schedule of the Control Building mcdification program undetermined at this time, we can only project that the current workload of miscellaneous piping and electrical changes would be representative of that ongoing during the modification program. A major work item scheduled for calen-dar year 1980 involves modification of th2 Solid Radwaste System in the Auxiliary Building.
Beyond the discussion above, we cannot at this time project what work may be going on during the Control Building modification program other than that described in PGE-1020 as " Ancillary Work".

Sincerely, h
