Dear Mr. Lefevre:

Under separate cover we are sending two (2) additional copies of the report

" Evaluation of Faults and Landslides, WPPSS Nuclear Projects 3 and 5, Grays Harbor County, Washington", and three (3) copies of the report " Evaluation of Joints in the Astoria Formation, WNP 3 and 5 Geologic Mapping Project",

by Woodward-Clyde Consultants, dated December 1978. These reports, along with the report previously transmitted to the NRC, " Feasibility of Dating the Faults in the Foundation of WNP-3 at the WNP 3 and 5 (Satsop) Site of WPPSS" by Weston Geophysical Research, describe the results of all supple-mental investigations on faulting at the Satsop site.

These data were previously made available to the NRC staff as progress reports and have been integrated into separate generic reports for convenience.

It is anticipated that these data will be presented in the WNP-3/5 FSAR.

Detailed mapping of the WUP 3 and 5 excavations and on the cut slopes surrounding the WNP-3/5 excavatians along with final documentation, was completed in May 1979 and is available for review. Because of the amount of data involved and the fact that this information will be made a part of the FSAR, no submittal i::, anticipated at this time.

Until such time as the WNP-3/5 FSAR is filed, the Supply System and its consultants are available to answer any questions that you may have re-garding this data.

We are making arrangements for a presentation of the results of this work to interested parties at our offices in Seattle on July 19, 1979, at 1:00 PM.

If you have any questions regarding this presentation, please contact my office at (509) 375-5383.

Very truly yours,
