IT MAY BE POSSIBLE THAT THE LEVEL CAN SE CONTROLLED BY BALANCING THE SPRAY FLCV AGAINST THE HEATERS THAT ARE TURNED ON.

Tdis TEST WOUL3 lNVOLVE CLOSING THE PRESSURIZER VENT VALVE AND RAISING THE PRESSURIZER WATER LEVEL UNTll THE SPRAY FLOV SALANCES THE ENERGY INPUT FROM THE HEATERS THAT ARE ON.

THIS VOULD SE A VERY SENSITIVE METHCD FOR CONTROL.

IF THE LEVEL 15 LOV, THE PRESSURE VILL CREEP UP, AND IF THE LEVEL 15 TO HIGH, THE PRESSURE VILL BEGIN TO DECREASE SINCE THE SPRAY FLOW IS PROPCRTIONAL TO LiqulD LEVEL.

REFER TO PROCEDURE NUMBER 22 FOR CETAILS.

Close Pressuri:er vent valves.

C:en Pressurizer spray valve.

Turn all Pressurizer heaters on and keep tnem L.

Turn all Pressurizer heaters en and keep them on.

5.

If pressure rises, raise pressuri:er water level (do not exceed 300 inches) until pressure becomes stable.

6.

If we reach 300 inches, cut off one bank of heaters.

If pressure continues to rise, cut off the second bank.

Continue to cut banks of heaters until the cressure level begins to fall.

Then l owe r level until the pressure is stable.

Cata at one (1) minute intervals.
