EXTRA PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES FOR AREA TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS FOR TMI
Dear Mr. Arnold:
In response to your letter dated May 18, 1979, and the attached memorandum, we have reviewed the sources of power that would be available in the event the extra precautionary measures previously inscituted were rescinded. We conclude that the completion of the
" gray and white" emergency diesel generators and the completion of the additional 13.8 kV feed to the circulating water pump house assure adequate sources of power for safe operation of TMI-2.
I concur with the relaxation of the extra precautionary measures as described in your May 18 letter and attaclunent.
