These trips do not alarm but do cause disagreement.
NOTE:
The Neut. Pumps do not have a low Suction Press Interlock therefore caution should be observed during icw tank levels.

2104-4.1 Revision 2 03/14/79 2.1.4 Do not run any of the below listed pumps in this system without adequate seal water, except in emergency.
Seal failure may result frem everheating of seals.
WDL-P-4A/B Aux. Sidg. Sump Tank Pump.
WDL-P-6A/B MW Transfer Pump WDL-P-8A/B Neut. Tank Pump WDL-P-15A/B Cont. Drain Pump.
2.1.5 Co not pump liquid frca a tank with the tank isolated from the vent header and N header.
2 2.1.6 When sluiceing or transfering of resins is taking place the Aux Sump level may raise due to overflow of decant frca the Spent Resin tank.
2.1.7 The temporary submergeable sump pump should be stored near the RB Spray pump vaults or the DH Pump vaults, for quick installation in event of failure of the single sump pump in each vault.
2.2 Administrative.
2.2.1 All transfers frcm tank to tank, unit to unit, and neutralization of tanks and all releases, shall be authorized by a Process Instruction and Data Sheet.
Tank Recirculation and filter change do not require a Process Instruction and Data Sheet.
2.2.2 Transfer of liquids between units shall involve a Process Instruction and Data Sheet for each unit.
Ccmmunica tions shall be established between the Pri. Aux Operators of each unit before transfer begins. Unit to Unit transfers require Unit Superintendent, or his designee, approval.
A sample fr should be taken to be analyzed for conductivity and pH prior f

2104-4.1 Revision 2 03/14/79 to the unit to unit transfer.
If the pH is less than 5 or greater than 10 the liquid should not be transferred.
Neutralize the tank then complete the transfer.
2.2.3 All releases to the MDCT from the Neut. Tank (WDL-T-3A/B) shall be authorized by a Process Instruction and Data Sheet and HPP 1621.
2.2.4 Use caution when entering the NWHT (WDL-T-2) and ABST (WDL-T-
- 5) cubicles if there is any possibility that the rupture disks have blcwn.
If the disks have bicwn there will be high cas activity and high N concentrations in the room.
2 2.2.5 Segregation of waste shall be practiced whenever possible.
. sr example, if the wastes in the ABST (WDL-T-5) or the CDi (WDL-T-ll A/3) are icw in activity then they will be routed to the Neut Tank (WDL-T-8A/B).
If they are high in activity then they will be directed to the MWHT (WDL-T-2).
To accomplish this these tanks shall be sampled for gross Sy and conductivity before pumping out.
When the CDT is h full start a Cont. Drain Pump to recirc that tank.
When the Hi Level Alarm is received transfer the drain header to the other tank. Allcw tank to recirc at Max. ficw for 1 hour1.157407e-5 days
2.777778e-4 hours
1.653439e-6 weeks
3.805e-7 months
. Have Chemistry sample, as necessary.
2.2.6 When possible, use the same letter pump and tank together during all processes, eg WDL-P-8A with WDL-T-8A.
2.2.7 Use one cartridge filter until high D.P. Alarm is received then switch filters and submit work request to replace spent fil ter.
(This is not required on the CDT fil ters, WDL-F-7A I
