SIGNIFICANT OPERATING EXPERIENCE TMI Unit II return to service at 1400 on Nov. 1, a t 20%.
Reactor power was increased to 90% power. While holding power at 90% for Xenon equilibriu=, and fceewater pu=p (FW-P-13) tripped, and the unit ran back to 60P. pcwer.
The unit returned to 90% power on Nov. 2.
At 2348 on Nov. 3, the unit tripped frca 90~ power on high pressure due to a loss of feedwater. This occurred when an instrument technician mistakenly openal the control power supply breaker to the condensate polisher control panel causing all polisher outlet valves to close.
The unit returned to pcwer at 0235 on Nov. 5, and pever was escalated to 907..
Power doppler coef ficient tes ting ec==enced on Nov. 7, During the test sequence at 0523 heater drain pumps LA and 13 tripped causing a loss of a condensate booster pu=p and =ain f eed pu=p 13.
The unit started a run back to 60; power, but the reactor tripped on variable low pressure /ta=perature at a reactor power of 62%. High pressure injection accc=panied this trip and the DH-V-3A and SB valves from the sodium hydroxide tank opened allowing sodium hydroxide to be injected into the Rcactor Coolant Systes.
Sodium cleanup of the pri=ary continued until Nov. 10 when unit cocidown co==enced.
On Nov. 11 the unit entered an outage to rc=ove the startup scre ans throughout the secondary plant.
Outage work co=pleted on Nov. 20, and unit heatup co== enc ed.
On Nov. 21, sa=ples indicated that the condensate system was contaminated with oil.
On Nov. 22 the unit entered Mode 5, and draining of the condensate storage tanks and the cendensate syste=s cec =enced.
On Nov. 26, the condensate system was refilled, feedwater heating established and recirculation of the condensate system cc==enced in an ef f ort to re=ove oil residue.
On Nov. 27 the condensate system was drained. On the 28th it was refilled and normal feedwater cleanup ce=senced.
At this writing plans are to cc==ence unit heatup when f eedwater chemistry is within specification.
SIGNIFICANT MAINTENMCE 1.
Replace emergency feedwater reducer on "3" heater and conducted repair hydro.
