BOARD NOTIFICATION - MUCLEAR INC' DENT AT THREE MILE ISLAND (BN-79-17)
This office recomends that available information regarding the nuclear incident at the Three Mile Island - 2 reactor be provided to t!ose Boards considering cases involving BaW reactors. Our records indicate that the follcwing Scards are in this category:
Hidland 1 & 2 Davis Besse 2 a 3 Erie 1 & 2 Greene County Pebble Springs Three Mile Island - 2

We think that providing these Boards with the recently issued IE Bulletin No. 79-05 (enclosed) will satisfy notification requirements since the
~5 Bulletin includes the Preliminary. Notifications (Pti's) which give a chro-nelogy of events during the course of the incident. Enclosed with the Bulletin are PN's Pil0-67 and 67A,.B C, D, E, f, G, H.
We are proviling 67H which was issued after the. Bulletin.. You should advise the Boards that the Preliminary NotificRions will continue to be issued periodically and that they will be provided when.available.
Although the above listed Boards should be given high priority for prcept notification on this r.atter we recox.end that all Boards, regardless of time frace, be provided with the sa;;:e material on an information basis.
