Eased on the results of the NRC inspecticn conducted on June 10-13, 1975, it a: pears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full conpliance with conditions of your AEC Facility License I;o. CPPR-66 as indicated below:
A.
Contrary to 10 CFR 50, Appcndix 3, Criterion IX:
1.
Welding of safety-related piping was not in accordance with Specification 1io. 2555-72 in that the welder cade nunerous are starts and stops without grinding.
2.
Control of filler metal was not in accordance with Specifi-cation 2555-72 in that the welder was observed to have core than one type of filler =etal in his possession while working on safety-related piping.
This item is en infraction and had the potential for causing or contributing to an occurrence related to health and ssfety.
B.
Contrary to 10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion V:
Documentation fer the core flooding tanks was approved by QA as meeting the requirements of Engineering and Manufacturing Instruc-tions (IEMI) 6M02 and was released for construction although the documentation furnished did not provide evidence of charpy tests as required by 6M02.
This ites is a deficiency.
