License No. CPPR-66 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on July 20-22, 26-28, 1977, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full compliance with conditions of your NRC facility License No. CPPR-66 as indicated ' elow.
This item is a Deficiency.
t Title 10, Part 20.203(e)(1), of the Code of Federal Reculations s tates : "Each area or room in which licensed material is used or stored and which contains any radioactive material (other than natural uranium or thorium) in any amount exceeding 10 times the quantity of such material specified in Appendix C of this part shall be conspicuously posted with a sign or signs bearing the radiation caution symbol and the words: " Caution - Radioactive Material (s ). "
Contrary to the above, on July 27, 1977, the appropriate signs were not posted on the doors leading to the new fuel storage area where new fuel was being stored.
