We cannot suoply the scheduled aquatic input until Metropolitan Edison supplies us with a ;!caradiological Environmental Men'toring Report (January - June 1975) for Unit 1.
Section 3.6.1 of the Unit 1 EIS requires that such reports be subnitted to !;3C no later than 60 days af ter July 1.
In a letter (cepy enclosed) dated Septe:ber 2,1975, the licensee advised NRC that he would be unable to conply with Section 5.6.1 and indicated that he anticipated being able to supply the report by Septenber 30, 1975.
- .'e did not receive a copy cf the September 2, 1975 letter and becano aware of the delay on Septe=ber 16, 1975.
Our need for aquatic data contained in the report was first identified during our Acceptance Review of the Supplecent to the SR-CL for Unit 2 (mero date.d April 8,1975; R. Enllard to W. Ragan). One of our ccr.cerns was a contention of an int.ervenor that data submitted earlier by the licensee did not allow NRC to completely satisfy its review responsibilities under NEPA. We again expressed the need for additional in.'stnation during the site visit of July 4, 1975.
