DCCKETS NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 REQUEST FCR ORCER TO SHOW CAUSC Notice is hereby given that by Petition dated August 23, 1976, The Environmental Coalition on Nuclear Peaer filed a request for an Order to Show Cause why the Unit No. 2 Construction Permit No. CPPR-53 and the Unit No.1 License No. OPR-70 should not be suspended. The requested order would be issued to the Public Service Electric & Gas Company for the Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Units Nos.1 ana 2.
In accordance with the procedures specified in 10 CFR 2.2C6, appropriate action will be taken on this request within a reasonable time.
A copy of the request is available for inspection in the Commission's Public Document Recm,1717 H Street, N. W., Washington, D. C.
