This is in response to your letter GQL 1281 to Mr. Boyce Grier, Director, Regicn I, dated October 16, 1979, in which you requested that the required annual radiation emergency drill far TMI-l be deferred and conducted prior to +5e start up of Unit 1.
Your request is hereby denied, and we will expect that the on-site emergency drills be conducted in accord with the Three Mile Island Emergency Plan prior to the end of the year.
