Dear Mr. Denton:
In a letter dated November 2, 1978, responses to NRC staff positions on fire protection (transmitted by the staff's letter of September 6, 1978) were submitted. This letter included a draft copy of the test report on penetrations through fire barriers along with a commitment to provide the final report when completed. Attached are three copies of the final version of this test report entitled, " Fire Qualificatica Test on Silicone foam Floor Penetration Seals."
The staff has accepted this matter based on review of the draft report and documented their review in Supplement 2 to the McGuire Safety Evaluation Report. There are no significant differences between the draft report and this final report.
