By application dated July 19, 1978 (signed by Mr. Williams) your Company requested cask handling changes for the Arkansas Nuclear One - Unit No. 1 Nuclear plant which would permit shipment of B C test rods.

In our letter 4

to your Company dated August 16, 1978, we informed you that a Class IV fee pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 was required for this application. With letter dated August 17, 1978, your Company paid a fee of $4,000.

On October 5, 1978, the Office of ? uclear Reactor Regulation issued Amendment No. 36 to Facility License No. DPR-51 which authorized limited approval of your request.

In our letters dated October 19, 1978, and March 5, 1979, we requested an additional $8,300 and provided the basis for Class IV rather than Class III.

Trimble), we were informed that the additional $8,300 would be submitted in early May 1979 concurrent with your plans and schedules for future use of the NAC-1 cask to support continuance of the review of your application.

We have not received the additional sum of $8,300 or any indication that you have withdrawn your request for unlimited use of the cask.

It is requested that the $8,300 be submitted to us within fifteen days of your receipt of this letter.
