POSSIBLE STRIKE, PLANT WORKERS This suoplements PNS-1-79-01 issueri on October 5,1979.
The licensee and.the IDEW Union Comittee reached a tentative agreement en a new contract on October 8,1979.
The Union Comittee has recomended accessance of the new contract to the rank and file.
A trass meeting to vote en :ne new contract has been called for October 10, 1979.
The licensee believes the new contract will be ratified tnereby avoiding the threat of a strike.
No press release is planned by the licensee or Region I at this time.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is being kept informed.
Region I (Philadelphia) received notification of the above by telephone from the licensee on October 9,1979, at 12:30 c.c.
