This is in response to your letter of "ay 31, 1979 regarding the length of tire it has taken the PPC staff to review the geolcgic, seisr.ic and structural issues asscciated with the ordered shutdcwn of the Cencral Electric Test Reactor (CETR).
I agree that this period of tice is significant and accordingly, requested that the staff provide a surnary of the effort which has been placed on the subject review to date as well as the current schedule for ceroleting the review and issuing a safety evaluation. The infomation provided to me by the staff is enclosed.
