30 North A: na II is a nearly it.entical copy of North Anna I, which is undergoing i:s first refueling after compiling an operating record that has cade i: one ef the cost successful nuclear power uni:s in the history cf the industry.

There have been no significant events in 'the cperation of Nr th Anna I that would reflect adversely on the potential for safe and productive operations at North Anna II.

Given the fac: that North Anna II will be operated by the same utili:7 on the same site of Nor:h Anna I, it is inconceivable o me that the NRC would delay i:s licensing a..
