Report, in writing, within 45 days, your plan cf action and schedule with regard to the above items.
RESPONSE
Time schedule for the Implementation of Applicable Items Item 1.
The latest revision of DOT Regulations as contained in Title 49 has been received and is now on file at the station.
Item 3.
The administrative procedure for the designation of personnel responsible for the safe transfer, packaging and transfer of low-level radioactive materials has been written and is presently awaiting safety committee approval.
Item 5.
The Operations and Health Physics development programs are in the process of being expanded to incorporate the additional training required by IE Bulletin 79-19.
Changes recently proposed for acceptable shipment and burial will require review and development of training material.
Both the training programs will be conpleted and implemented on or about July 1,1980.
