In response to the subject telephone conversation, the follo"ing information is provided to indicate the status of charging pump modifi-cations:
(1) All accumulators are installed on charging pumps CH-1B and CH-1C, with damaging vibration and cavitation problems eliminated.
(2) An accumulator on suction piping of charging pump CH-1A has been installed. An accumulator on discharge piping vill be installed by the end of the next refueling out-age, scheduled to commence in mid-January, 1980.
Completion of modifications described in items (1) and (2) are expected to eliminate all vibration induced failures of charging pump discharge and suction piping.
