Dear Mr. Frino:
This memorandum provides guidance and funding to SNL to support the Division of Operating Reactors for evaluations of Inservice Testing Programs for operating nuclear power plants. The scope of this work and schedule are defined in the enclosure. The FY 1980 BH Financial Plan will include $25,000 for this work under B&R 20 19 01 03, Fin A3117.
Bimonthly progress reports containing technical achievements and financial status shceld be sent to this office. provides an estimated schedule for completing the IST reviews.

The enclosed NRC Form 173, Standard Order for DOE work, for $25,0C0 is hereby submitted in accordance with Section III.B.2 of the DOE /NRC Memorandum of Understanding of February 24, 1978.
