This office has raceived a copy of the application dated September 26, 1979, signed by L. M. Mills, Manager, Nuclear Regulation and Safety, and filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review and approval of an amendment to Facility License DPR-68.
It is noted that you considered it a supplement to your application dated August 6,1979, on 3rowns Ferry Unit 3 second refueling and, therefore, not subject to the fee requirements of 10 CFR 170.22.
Based on guidance from the ONRR staff as a result of their preliminary
- eview of your September 26 application relating to LOCA analysis, it has been determined that your application requires a Class III amend-ment fee of $4,000 because it involves a separate safety issue from the core reload analysis.
It is requested that'the 34,000 be forwarded to this office.
If final review of your application by the ONRP, staff reveals that this fee. is incorrect, you will be refunded any overpay-ment or' billed for any additional amount due.
