Dear Mr. Goodwin:
In conducting our review of your August 2,1979 letter relating to Revision 5 to the Trojan Nuclear Plant Security Plan (PGE-1017), we have determined that we will need the additional information on certain items as identified in the enclosure to complete our review. Pending receipt of your response, we are not able to agree with your determination that these items do not involve a decrease in effectiveness of the presently approved security plan.
~ Therefore, we request that you revert back to your currently approved plan with respect to these items pending their resolution.
Based on our review, we find that, with the exception of those portions indicated in the enclosure, the changes contained in PGE-1017, Rev. 5, have not decreased the level of protection of the currently approved plan and are acceptable.
Because the enclosure contains security information specific to Trojan, it is being withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(d).
Your response is requested within 30 days of your receipt of this letter.
