Nuclear Regulatory Ccmmission (the Commission) has issued Amendment flo.18 to Facility Operating License No. OPR-50 issued to Metropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Power and Light Gcmpany, and Pennsylvania Electric Ccmpany which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Three Mile Island fluclear Station, Unit 1, located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
This amendment authori::es miscellaneous changes to the Environmental Technic ' Specifications.
These changes involve (a) correction of typographical errors; (b) wording changes for clarification of intent; (c) administrative changes and titles; (d) location of radiological monitoring stations; (e) monitoring conditions; and (f) sensitivity of radiological analyses.
The applications for the amendment comply with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations.
The Ccemission has made appropriate finding; as required by the Act and the Ccmmission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chaoter I, which are set forth in the li. cense amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment is not required since VWgl,z2lCyy
. the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amend-ment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 651.5(d)(4) an environmental statement, negative declaration or environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with the issuance of this amendment.
