The Co::nission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 27 to Facility Operating License lio. DPR-50 for the Three !!ile Island i!uclear Station, Unit No. 1.
The atendrent consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to.your acplications dated February 13, 1977, and staff discussions.
This anendment modifies the provisions of the Technical Specifications relatinc to repairs and adjustronts which are pernissible prior to condecting a leakage test of the centainr.ent pursuant to Appendix J of 10 CFP, Part 50. The amendrent also allous greater flexibility in the means employed to assure r,aintenance of containment integrity during refueling operations.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the Federal P.egister !:otice are also enclosed.
