The Connission has issued the enclosed Amendment '!o. 36 to Facility Ocerating License 'lo. DPR-50 for the Three Mile Island 'luclear Statien, Unit ?!o.1. The amendnent consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated October 22, 1977. As discussed with your staff, nodifications have been made to your proposed changes to neet regulatory requirements.
This amndment revises the defiinition of containnent inteority with respect to airlock maintenance, repair or modification and adds surveillance recuirerents for the interlock systens of airlocks.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the flotice of Issuance are also enclosed.
