This office has received a copy of your May 8, 1978 application for amendment to Facility License No. DPR-50 which you filed with the Division of Operating Reactors (DOR). The application is identified as Change Request No.106 relating to the Appendix B portion of the 1NI-l Technical Specifications (TS). The application was accompanied by Check No. 82013 for $400 which categorizes your application as a fee Class I.. Fee Class I is for an amendment that is a duplicate of an amendment for a second essentially identical unit at the same site where both proposed amendments are received, processed and issued at the sam time. '.
We have been advised by 00R that your May 8 application is improperly classified because it does not meet the above-stated criteria for Class I type amendments. Further, the appropriate class cannot be detentined by D0k because it is not clear in your application as to what specific changes to the Appendix B TS are being proposed by you.
Therefore, it is requested that clarification of the specific changes desired be provided and that a reassessment of your application and the previously applied-amendment fee class be made, and the additional fee-submitted to this office. Your response to this letter should include the basis for your determination of the amendment fee class as required by Section 170.12(c) of 10 CFR Part 170.
