This is in response to your request that Section B of Amendment No. 7 dated January 8, 1968, to the application for a construction permit for Metropolitan Edison Company's proposed Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, which contains certain cost information concerning the proposed facility, be withheld from public disclosure putsuant to the provi-sions of 10 CFR Section 2.790(b) of the Commission's " Rules of Practice."
After reviewing the information contained in Section B of Amendment No. 7, we have determined that disclosure of its contents is not required puranant to 10 CFR Part 9 of the Commission's regulations, and is not required in the public interest and would adversely affect the interest of the Metropolitan Edison Company.
Accordingly, Section B of Amendment No. 7 will be withheld from public inspection pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR Section 2.790(b).
Such withholding from public inspection shall not, however, affect the right, if any, of persons properly and directly concerned to inspect the docassent.
