bJ Metropolitan Edison Company, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, applicant for an operating license and con-struction permit for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station No.1, hereby amends its application and responds to a letter from Dr. Peter A. Morris dated October 31, 1967 The amendment is in two sections. Section A contains a revision of the original estimate of the cost of construction of the plant to reflect certain charges in plant design. Section A also contains the applicant's reply to the third question in the October 31, 1967 letter from Dr. Morris.
Section 3 contains applicant's response to questions one and two in the October 31 letter. Pursuant to Section 2.790(b) of the Commission's Rules of Practice, the applicant hereby requests that Section 3 be withheld from public disclosure. Such withholding is requested to protect confidential information pertaining to the fuel fabrication price negotiated by the applicant and the Babcock and Wilcox Company. Such information could be derived from the data contained in Section 3.
This amendment to the application contains no restricted data or other defense information.
