The Commission has issued the enclosed Arendment No. 43 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-50 for Three Mile Island Muclear Station, Unit No.1 (T!!I-1). The amendnent consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your request dated January 27,1978, as supplemented by letter dated July 17, 1978.
The amendment revises the Technical Specifications for TMI-l by increasing the volume requirements of the boric acid mix tank, the reclaimed boric acid storage tank, and the borated water storage tank.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
