Gentlemen:
The technical specifications for Three !!ile Island Unit tio.1 (Tl11-1) in.%pendix R, Section 4.1.1 (parts A, B and C) specify that an imoingenent and entrainment biolooical survefilance crocran shall be conducted. This section also states that the procran will be terninated at the end of its second year of operation unless the review of the first year's data indicates the need for additional data.
This is to advise you that we have reviewed the first year's data and on the basis of our review find no need for additional data.
Accordinoly, we find it acceptable for you to terninate the programs set forth in the T'tI-l technical soecifications, Appendix B, Sections 4.1.lA, B and C.
