MODIFICATION OF CONDITIONS OF EXEMPTION Metropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Power and Light Company, and the Pennsylvania Electric Conpany,the licensees), are the holders of Facility Operating License No. DPR-50 which authorizas the operation of the nuclear power reactor knaun as Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit No. 1 (TMI-l o the facility), at steady state power levels not in excess of 2535 me,swatts thermal (rated power).
The facility consists of a Babcock & Wilcox Con.pany (B&W) designed pressurized water reactor (PWR) located at the licensees' site in Cauphin County, Pennsylvania.

1487 155 On April 27, 1978, the Comissien granted the licensees of TMI-l an Exemption from the requirement of 10 CFR 50.46(a) that Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS) perfor an acceptable calculational rodel DUPLICATE DOCUMENT Appendix K.
