SCHEDULE FOR COMPLETING E'/ALUATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED BY LICENSING CONDITICMS OF FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. NPF-6 (ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE, UNIT 2)

Pursuant to the licensing conditions of facility operating license No. MPP-6 and other cranitments for the Arkansas Nuclear One Power Station, Unit 2

( ANO-2), you are required to ccmplete certain facility modificaticns and other actions.

We are develcping a schedule for timely resolution of each item so that the necessary evaluations, modifications, and Tecnnical Scecifications can be reviewed and resolved with as little impact as possible on your plans and our review of your first refueling request and subsequent startuo. Therefore, we request that you provide a proposed schedule for the submittal of modifications, required analyses, and any prooosed Technical Specifications associated with the items specified in the enclosure. For items 1, 2, and 4, the submittals should be well in advance of your refueling request but no later than 90 days before your scneduled startup after the first refueling for AN0-2.

We recuest the test results for item 3 within 30 days following completien of the tests. For item 5, we request the CEA guide tube surveillance program at least 90 days prior to shutdown for Cycle 1 reload outage and the results of'the surveillance program well in advance of your startup for Cycle 2 operation.

We recuest that you provide a schedule of dates for the requested sua-mittals listed in the enclosure within 45 days of receiot of this letter.
