SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - REACTOR VESSEL INSULF NCP CEB 79 THIRD INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-OIE Inspector W. T. Cottle on June 5,1979, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e).

Interim reports were submitted on July 3, 1979, and August 31, 1979.

We expect to submit our next report before fuel load.

This nonconform-ance was reported for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant as NCR CEB 79-21.

Westinghouse TVA. has investigated the problem and provided a response to TVA is continuing to review this response.
