Earbein, Yica President Baciaar Operation Metropolitan-Edison Campeay Trailer Number 120 Middletown Femasylvania 17057 Dear Mr. Herbein According to the Met Ed/GPU morning plant status meettags, there is some indication that work en the valve pit costalaing Westinghouse ADER System components could be stepped and met ca $ eted. This may be acceptable providing a resolutism te our concern is met. The concern is of potential reactor coolant flow via the ADER piping to the outside of the Fuel Esadling Building wall assuming leakage acrose the valve seat of either isolation valve DHA-V-01 er DBA-Y-07B when either the Mini-DER system er the existing DBR system is in operatism. The esclased Mini-DH1 system schematic shows the location of the embject valves.
Prior to the terminatism of the valve pit monstructica, we recommended that certain desiga modifications be considered each as capping off the piping downstrean of the first isolation valves - possibly in the valve pit, Eles== cime en af your p1*___ t= reaolve this matter.
