EMERGENCY PLANNING TASK FORCE SITE VISIT AND MEETING ON SEQUOYAH This is to confirm discussions with your staff regarding the visit of the NRC Task Force Team on emergency preparedness.

The Team will visit the Sequoyah site on October 10, 1979, and subsequently hold a public meeting in Chattanooga on October 11, 1979.

The purpose of the site visit and meeting is to discuss the emergency preparedness plans for Sequoyah. An NRC press release will be made on this matter.
