This is my request for a full disclosure of the process used in determining the routes to be used for shipping spent fuel rods from San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant to the temporary storage site in Morris, Illinois.
1)
Notice of the time and place of the agency meeting where discussion con-cerning route approval for these shipments will occur.
2)
A determination that this meeting be open to the public in accordance with the Government in the Sunshine Act.
31 Permission to intervene in this meeting as an aggriever party}(who will suffer injury in fuat, if the requirements of 10 CRP 73.37 (a
- 3) is not complied with.
4)
Access to all documents related to this route approval, including notices, transcripts, minutes, exhibits and rulings related to or resulting from any meetings held by agency members where this route approval has been discussed.
5)
What consideration for city and/or state laws are given regulating ship-ments of these types.
6)
Nuclear Regulatory Commission's exact jurisdiction in the shipment of radioact(ve waste.
This request is being made pursuant to 5 USC, Sec. 552.
I am willing to pay any reasonable standard charge involved for actual search time and copying fees.
However, since this disclosure is in the public interest, I respectfully ask waiver or reduction of fees.
See Sec. 552 (a)(4)(A).
This information should be available to the public and not exempt under any clause of the Act.
People have every right to the knowledge of time and dates of these meetings in order to represent themselves and their communities.
Please respond at the earliest possible time, and if any portion of this re-quest is denied,' send me a detailed statement of all reasons for denial.
