SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - REACTOR VESSEL INSULATION -

NCR CEB 79 THIRD INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector W. T. Cottle on June 5, 1979, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e).

Interim reports were submitted on July 3, 1979, and August 31, 1979.

We expect to submit our next report before fuel load. Thic nonconform-ance was reported for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant as NCR CES 79-21.

Westinghouse has investigated the problen and provided a response to TVA. TVA is continuing to review this rasponse.
