This is in response te your two letters dated September 10, 1979, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of all correspondence between the Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company (CG&E) and the tGC for the one year period starting September 10, 1978, relating to the postponement and delay of the in-service date for the W.
it. Zimmer Nuclear Unit No.1.
In your second letter, to Mr. R. C. Knop at Glen Ellyn, Illinois, you further requested copies of all correspondence between CG&E and Mr. Knop and other members of the NRC staff on the same subject.
In a telephone conversation on September 27, 1979, wi th Mr. Frank U.
Karas of this office, the statements contained in two documents concerning delays were dictated to you.
Subsequently, a third (Scument was located.
At your request, a copy of each document listed in Appendix A is enclosed.
The NRC's Local Public Document Room for the Zimmer facility is located at the Clermont County Library, Third and Broadway Streets, Batavia, Ohio. is a listing of the categories of information filed in the LPDR.
The purpose of the LPDR is to provide ocass to all publicly available agency records relating to the Zimmcr facility to interested persons who live in the vicinity of the facility.
All records in the LPDR are available for inspection and copying.
An appointment can be made with Ms. Mary Mackzum (513/732-2128) at the LPDR who can provide assistance to you in locating the documents you are seeking.
We are continuing our search for any additional records subject to your request which can be disclosed to the public.
If any are found, they will also be placed in the LPDR.
You will be advised of any records denied and the basis for the denial.
