DOCKET NOS. 50-325 AND 50-324 RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN 79-15 Gentlemen:

In response to your letter of July 11, 1979, transmitting IE Bulletin 70-15 concerning deep draft pump deficiencies, Carolina Power & Light Company submits the following information:

Twelve items were addressed regarding deep draft pump deficiencies. An investigation has revealed that the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant does not use pumps of this type in safety-related applications, and, therefore, has no additional response to these items.

We trust that this information satisfies the request of IE Bulletin 79-15.

Yours very truly,

/
