l SU3 JECT: Radiological Environmental Monitoring Prograra The Radiological Assessaent Branch has prepared the attached Branch Technical Position dated Ilarch 1978 on "An Acceptable Radiological Environnental l'onitoring Progran." which supersedes the docwr.cnt of the same title distributed in Jai uary 1978.
This position replaces the radiological portion of Regulatory Guide 4.8 for use until it is l
incorporated in a revised guide or issued as a separate guide.
This position will be used in reviewing the environmental radiological I
nonitoring prograu proposed by applicants in their Environmental Reports.
