Gentlemen:
Thank you for your letter dated August 10, 1979, informing us of the
steps you have taken to correct tha noncompliance identified in our
letter dated July 19, 1979. With regard to your August 10, 1979,
response, Subparagraphs A.(1), (2) and others, you have not provided
suitable substance to r.upport your contention that "the appropriateness
of the subject noncompliance may be subject to question." We continue
to believe that this is an item of noncompliance. Further, your ASME
Code inquiry and response (your Attachment I) is not germane to the
issue idertified in the subject noncompliance or the details of the
related report. However, regarding this matter, we understood at the
time of the inspection that you (the N sta:np holder) are responsible
for ".
