Export of Special Nuclear flaterial, NRC License XSNM-1441 This letter refers to a Nuclear Regulatory Comission inspection of a General Electric Company nuclear material shipment at the Port of Oakland, Oakland, California on July 26, 1979. The inspection was conducted by Region V inspectors; A. Wieder, Y. Kobori, G. Hamada, D. Schaefer and R. Fish.
Their inspection was to check General Electric Company's compliance with the requirements of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, "Special Nuclear I4aterial," and Part 71, " Packaging of Radio-active Material for Transport and Transportation of Radioactive liaterial Under Certain Conditions."
No app, aent items of noncompliance were found.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of our findings on your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding special nuclear material are exempt from disclosure.
Therefore, the enclosed inspection report will not be placed in the Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution.
