In y ur application for license amendment dated July 12, 1979, which you filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review and approval, you stated that fees for Classes I and II totalling 51,600 pursuant to 10 CFR 170 were enclosed.
However, no check was received with your application. The application was for Environmental Technical Specification changes for License Nos. DPP-57 and NPF-5 for Hatch Unit Nos. I and 2 which would allow an extension of the 90-day reporting requirercents under certain circumstances.
The ONRR review staff has advised that if the Technical Specifications previously issued had been consistent with the Administrative Controls as set forth in the STS, this change would not now be necessary.
Also, it is our understanding that ycur application dated December 21, 1973, providing radiological effluent Technical Specifications, included the ?ction requested in your July 12 application.
Based cn the above, we have determined that fees are not required for your July 12 application.
The ONRR review staff advised us that during a telephone conversation with a r. ember of your Ccmpany on approximately August 7 they informed you that the check had not been received.
At this time, they suggested that your Company stop payment on the check if you found that it had been sent.
If your records still reflect that the check was sent and you did not stop payraent, please confirm that the check nunber is 905649 dated July 17, and provide this office with any other details you deem appropriate which would assist us in locating it and subsequently taking the necessary action to reimburse your Company, if appropriate.
