Dear Mr. Hendrie:
I am writing you in regard to a recent incident which occurred at the Peach Bottom nuclear power facility operated by the Philadelphia Electric Company.
As you know, during a recent incident there, a steam valve was stuck open but no release of radioactivity to the environment occurred.
You are also well aware of the on-going concern about nuclear power f acilities not only among my constituents,
but among all the people of Pennsylvania.
During the Three Mile Island incident, a great deal of attention was paid to the lack of communication and accurate information about the exact status of that plant and the potential dangers of that situation.
Several constituents have contacted me regarding the lack of comment and flow of information concerning this most recent incident at the Peach Bottom facility.

Considering the ordeal that the people of central Pennsylvania have recently endured, it would seem that a more reassuring prblic comment from the NRC concerning this situation would have been appropriate.
