SYNOPSIS @ RECENT ENVIRONMENTAL DATA The following environmental analyses have been performed since April 15.

All results are for iodine-131.

R A.

M 1.

Number collected - Four on 4/17/79 2.

Results: a) Two less than 6 picocuries per liter (Analyzed by NRC) b) Two less than 2 picoeuries per liter (Analyzed by State of Pennsylvania) 3.

Standard: FDA limit is 12,000 picoeuries per liter.

B.

Air 1.

Number Collected a.)

16 Grab at points of highest calculated offsite concentrations.

b.)

Two continuous at Observation Center 2.

Results:

a) Four grab samples collected on April 18 showed positive results.

These ranged from 27 to 205 picoeuries per cubic meter. The continuous sample collected at the Observation Center on April 18 showed 26 picoeuries per cubic meter for a 24 hour2.777778e-4 days
0.00667 hours
3.968254e-5 weeks
9.132e-6 months
period.

b) All remaining air samples showed activity less than the minimum detectable. By the evening of April 19 our mini =um detectable limit was 3 picoeuries per cubic meter of air.

3.

Standard: ::RC limit is 100 picocuries per cubic meter averaged over one year.

3.

Standard: None.

D.
