NRC STAFF EVALUATION OF NNEC0 RESPONSES TO IE CULLETIN 79-08 FOR MILLSTONE-1 We have completed our review of the information you provided in your letters dated April 24,1979, May 14,1979, and June 15,1979, which you submitted. in response to IE Bulletin 79-08 for Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1.
We have also completed our review of the supple-mental infortration that you provided in your letter of June 15, 1979.
We have concluded that you have taken the appropriate actions to mee';
the requirements of each of the eleven action items identified in IE Bulletin 79-08.
A copy of our safety evaluation is enclosed.
However, tne staff review of the Three Mile Island, Unit 2 incident is continuing and other corrective actions nay be required at a later date.
In this regard, we met with each of the licensees of boiling water reactors on June 28, 1979 to discuss a nLmber of matters related to our generic review of operating boiling water reactor plants.
